This 4×10 ft Pandjiris Low Profile Weld Manipulator is ideal for the customer who is welding on the inside of tanks and vessels. This low profile manipulator easily fits inside bays with low ceiling heights. This machine was previously used to weld flat sheets together in a large assembly line where space was a premium. The sheets moved into position using transfer tables. Using this machine in that fashion has its benefits over a traditional side beam in that the welding equipment and beam can be completely moved out of the way of the sheet. This would allow clearance overhead for any plate lifting equipment or post processing like a shape cutting head.

With a fixed position base plate, this machine will stay in line with other positioning equipment once secured to the floor. This machine also has very large weight carrying capacity. At 1100 lbs per boom end, this machine is capable of holding the heaviest welding processes like tandem submerged arc with flux recovery and seam tracking equipment.
