This Bancroft Dual Head Welding Lathe is designed to clamp assembled cylindrical parts. First of all the fixture will hold parts in position and power rotate them about their center line. In addition, the system provides a side beam track and two carriages setup for subarc welding. Furthermore the sidebeam collapses out of the way for overhead part load and unloading. A push button controller allows the operator to start and restart the welding arc. A built in track bed allows the tailstock to be easily moved into position. This was built in 2000 for GMAW and SAW for barrel welds. Lastly, this Bancroft weld lathe is in great condition and is ready to ship as-is!
