This 200 lb Small Welding Lathe Bed is designed to provide a simple solution to customers who need a station to complete circumferential welds on parts. This bed allows you to use a small manipulator or side beam in conjunction with this lathe bed to fully automate the welds. You can also use this as a simple weld station where the operator holds the welding torch in their hands while the part rotates. The lathe features a 24″ diameter table with mounting slots. This table would be suitable for a welding chuck or your special tooling.

To aid in clamping, the machine is also equipped with a manually adjustable tailstock. This tailstock has screw clamp feature which allows the operator to tighten the centering point against the part and lock it in place with the integrated brake. The main chassis of the tailstock rolls easily on the tubing via cam follower bearings. Use this machine with a simple foot pedal operation or have the technicians here at Weld Plus integrate this lathe bed with other equipment for a complete solution.
