Product Description

These 90-ton Ransome DPRR/DIRR turning rolls are the perfect solution for your small to large cylindrical industrial applications, such as tanks, pressure vessels, pipes. etc. The frame of these turning rolls are a heavy duty welded fabrication with an adjustable roller base to allow for work diameter range of 7 inches to 20 feet – providing versatility for welding a wide range of part sizes. Similarly, the 180,000 lb load capacity of this set means you can handle some of the heaviest applications with one drive and one idler. Additionally, each unit has three 20.5” diameter x 21” wide rubber wheels on either side, offering high resistance to wear and deflection and making it ideal for durable, load-bearing applications. Ransome gear boxes feature a bronze worm wheel reinforced with steel to absorb heavy shock loading and to protect the gear from overloading and potential damage. Designed with a constant centerline, these turning rolls maintain stability and accuracy during operation. Pair this set with a second Ransome DIRR idler for a maximum load capacity of 135 tons.
