This Pandjiris 84 inch External Seam Welder features 84 inches of welding length and will clamp up to 92 inches.  Seam welders like this are designed to manufacture quality longitudinal seam welds by utilizing part clamping and a automated welding carriage. By having a clamping device that holds the sheet material near the welded seam, the material has little room to move and twist out of position while the seam is being welded. The aluminum fingers act as a heat sink which provide a means to pull the excess heat energy away from the part to minimize the heat affected zone (HAZ) thus reducing the risk of warping the material from heat. Installed dual plate alignment devices make loading parts easy and precise. This unit is available as it sits or can be rebuilt with new Weld Plus Weld Touch Control.
