This 96 inch Used Pandjiris Weld Seamer is designed to give you the ability to weld quality seams by providing clamping, cooling, and a backing surface on which to weld. By having a clamping device that holds the sheet material near the welded seam, the material has little room to move and twist out of position while the seam is being welded. Cooling is another benefit of having the clamping fingers so close to the welded seam. The fingers act like a heat sink which provides a means to pull the excess heat energy away from the part to minimize the heat affected zone (HAZ) thus reducing the risk of warping the material from heat. Additionally the backing bar provides a means of cooling the seam while also providing the necessary support under the seam to permit the welding process to run hotter without burning holes in the base material. In most cases this allows a welding procedure to be used which results in the full penetration weld. This seam welding machine comes complete with an Esab MIG welding setup. This setup includes the 300 amp SVI 300 power supply and a Digimatic II four roll wire feeder weld control. You also have X and Y cross slides to manually position the torch over the weld seam.

This machine, as with all the inventory we rebuild, comes with a warranty. We also offer training here in our facility at no cost to you. You can choose to buy this or any of our machines in the as-is condition. We just encourage you to come to our facility and inspect the machine before doing so.
