Product Description

The Scotchman DO70 Ironworker is a rugged, 70-ton dual-operated machine built to maximize productivity in busy fabrication shops. Its dual-pump hydraulic system allows two operators to work simultaneously while maintaining full hydraulic pressure and operating speed for both stations. Additionally, the 70-ton punch station features a generous 9” throat depth and can punch a 1-⅛” hole through ¾” mild steel. Standard equipment includes a 6″ x 6″ x ½” angle shear and a rectangular notcher capable of notching 3″ x 4″ material up to ½” thick. The 24” flat bar shear utilizes a low rake angle to deliver clean, efficient cuts on material up to 1″ x 6″ or ⅜” x 24″ mild steel. Furthermore, the DO70 is designed for versatility, allowing optional tooling to be swapped quickly so the machine can be configured for a wide range of fabrication applications. Built with durability in mind, it features a reliable hydraulic system with electric valves, remote foot pedals for convenient operation, and adjustable electric stroke control with an integrated scale for improved precision and repeatability.
