The Magnafloat Model 10 machine is a unique system that allows automated welding of irregular parts. This system is designed with two magnetic roller drums which ride along the profile of the part. This maintains the proper surface travel speed since the speed is not dependent upon part diameter but rather the surface contact of the part. This is perfect for those who have parts that change frequently or have irregular shapes like ovals and elliptical parts. Loading and unloading don’t get much easier than this. The magnetic wheels hold the part in position and can simply be peeled off when the welding is complete. The magnetic rollers and weld arm adjust to handle a variety of part heights. The table surface can be used as a bearing surface so that the part can easily glide along while it is being rotated. The system comes equipped with a stitch weld feature that allows the operator to set the weld on and weld off time.
